If a GTC limit order is executed several months after receipt of the order, will CAT reject the Trade Event?
No. Limit orders with a timeInForce value of ‘GTC’ are maintained in CAT for six years. Limit orders with a timeInForce value of ‘GTD’ will be maintained until the expiration date provided on the order, plus the Processing Window. Any order report related to one of these limit orders can be reported to CAT within that time period.
